Remote Customer Orders

In most cases where a station is being placed at a remote location you will still require the customer order facility. This can easily be installed in one of two ways. If there is a network server operating at the branch site then the customer orders can be installed as a branch order file and shared amongst all stations on that network. Where a single machine location exists the order files can be provided as a dedicated order system for the use of that station only.

Both of these remote customer order facilities carry some conditions:

  • Only orders raised on that order system are available (ie. Master site and other remote site orders are not available)

  • To raise an invoice from an order in these systems you must be using one of the stations attached to that order system.

  • Prices placed on orders will be priced according to the prices available from the General files located in the station being used to generate the order.

  • Where an order is invoiced or altered from a station that has a different download version of the General files (ie has downloaded earlier or later than the station raising the order) prices may be altered.
