In order for the purchasing system to suggest or automatically purchase goods it must be able to estimate what stock is required. There are two main forms of requirement that the Acumen system takes into account in assessing the need for stock. These are:
Sales Requirements (Shelf stock)
Customer Order Requirements
Normally the purchasing system will use the higher requirement when automatically purchasing stock.
