Specific Access Level

A specific access level is an over-ride of the base access for this account. You need only make specific access entries where you wish to grant access that the default does not provide, or where you wish to deny access that the default access permits. As an example a Point Of Sale account may have a default access of Read, which is insufficient for use in changing Customer Details. If this user is required to alter customer addresses then the user needs to have a minimum of Edit access to the 'Customers' menu option. A specific access entry can be made for the single menu option 'Customers' or for the master file group object 'Master'.
