Live Stocktake

To achieve a complete stocktake of a branch while trading requires some discipline if it is to be successful. Acumen has facilities to assist in the real time capture of stock counts and to calculate variations between the computer figure (as at the count) versus the actual count.

The advantages of a Live stocktake is that it can be done during normal trading and that it can commence before the end of the month. The disadvantage is that the stocktake count cannot be used as an end of month closing balance as there may be transactions processed after the count but before the end of the month.
