Automatic Reversing Journals

This journal type is identical to a General journal except for one feature. When you roll over at the end of a month (age the files) Acumen scans for active Automatic Reversal journals. If any Auto Reverse journals are found that have been posted but have not yet been reversed then Acumen will process the journal as a reversal, thus removing the effect of the journal before the end of month is rolled over. This means that the reversals become a part of the transactions for the old period and that the opening balances of the new period will not show their effect.
