On Order

When stock on hand is insufficient to supply this order immediately, but further deliveries are expected to raise the stock to a level sufficient to cover both expected sales, higher priority orders, and this order (by its due date), then the status is considered to be "On Order". Calculation of this is done as follows:

Ordered Quantity<=Stock on Hand+Expected DeliveriesExpected SalesOrdered\ Quantity <= Stock\ on\ Hand + Expected\ Deliveries - Expected\ Sales

This is the most common status to expect for customer orders of items that are not stocked but are ordered in as needed.
