Kits
A Kit product is not truly a product but is simply a short cut to loading a number of other products to a document. You would use the Kit class where you wish to define a package or group of items that often go together. For example if you were selling computers you may have a 'Pentium Pack' product. This product would be given a class of Kit which would enable the Materials button. The Material List can then be used to enter the components of the 'Pentium Pack'. These components may consist of say a 'Monitor', 'Processor', 'Keyboard' and 'Mouse' products. Thus whenever I enter the 'Pentium Pack' product to a document (say an Invoice), instead of seeing 1 line for that product I will see 4 lines, 1 for each component.
