Master Files
At the heart of the Acumen system are the Master files. These files are the foundation stone for the entire system. Many of the greatest benefits to be gained by use of the Acumen system are to be found in the establishment of well organised master files.
These files are used to build up a representation of your business within the computer. They describe your Customer base, Product base, company structure and the structure of information to be collected. Careful use of these files can make considerable difference to such tasks as locating a customer or product, arranging reports, changing prices and other details.
